Ron and Julie Flint (Anacortes, Washington state)
The Flints enjoy taking advantage of the natural beauty of wood to create inlaid and engraved wood bookmarks – functional and affordable pieces of art. There can be up to 25 steps to the Flint’s unique process. They start by cutting small squares, rectangles and triangles out of their favorite woods, and then puzzle them together into interesting combinations and shapes to create the final patterns. No stains are used, only a durable finish.
The result is a beautiful bookmark and little piece of art.
