Max is a native Angeleno, long inspired by the color combinations and varied designs found among simple vintage items from the 1920‘s – 1960‘s. Her blank cards are made from original vintage playing cards. “I have always repurposed objects, whether using leftover wood to build a fort as a child or sewing a skirt from fabric remnants as a teenager.”

The paper Max uses and the little bit of glitter embellishment make these cards true functional art, to be kept or sent to special friends.
